PlantLynk doesn't just take an owner's word for it. Every machine that earns a tier badge has been through the layer matching that badge — verified, scored, and re-checked.
Layer 1 · Identity
Every owner gives us a phone number tied to a SIM, a company name, and a base city. WhatsApp deep-links keep contractor traffic on a verifiable channel — no anonymous burner emails.
Layer 2 · Photo & AI spot-check
Every listing needs a real photo of the actual machine — and our AI cross-checks it against the claimed machine type before a human reviews it. Very effective at filtering out stock-photo and copy-paste listings.
Layer 3 · Compliance
For the green Verified badge we ask for company registration, proof of operator certification (where required), and public liability cover. Documents are reviewed by a real human, not just a checkbox.
Layer 4 · Behaviour
Response time, no-shows, follow-through on quotes — every contractor interaction is logged. Persistent slow responders drop a tier; serial no-shows are removed from the network.
Layer 5 · PlantLynk Cover — in development
We're building PlantLynk Cover: protection for confirmed bookings, so that a no-show doesn't cost you the day. The aim is to back our vetting with real recourse.
Cover is not live yet. It will launch with a licensed insurance partner, subject to regulatory approval — we will never promise protection we can't deliver.
