📐 How it's computed: for every category we take the advertised rates of live listings and
show the median and the middle-of-market range (25th–75th percentile). Wet = machine
+ operator (+fuel); dry = machine only. Rates are for the machine hire itself — transport, standby
and fuel on dry hire are quoted separately by owners. This is a market guide, not a quote; categories with
few listings show a wider, less certain picture.
